CIPTEA — Autism Identification Card

Transportation Rights
The federal Interstate Free Travel Pass is intended for people with disabilities who also meet the current low-income criterion. There is also a federal IPI tax exemption for autistic people who meet the benefit requirements. IOF, ICMS and IPVA have their own criteria and should not be assumed to apply automatically; state rules must be confirmed with the competent authority.

For private-sector workers, this page does not identify an automatic federal reduction in working hours solely for having an autistic child; conditions may arise from contract, negotiation, collective agreement, court decision or specific rules.
