1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Projeto Acolher TEA (the “platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any provision, we recommend that you do not use the platform.

2. Educational nature of the platform

Projeto Acolher TEA is a platform with an exclusively educational and informational purpose. All content provided — articles, guides, videos, activities and materials — is intended to offer practical and supportive information for families, caregivers and professionals interested in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

3. The Project does not replace professional care

Important notice: the content on this platform does not replace assessment, diagnosis, individualized guidance, follow-up or treatment by qualified health professionals. If you have specific concerns about a child’s development, always consult a trusted professional.

3.1. Acolher AI Guide

Acolher Guide is an AI-assisted navigation tool created to locate, organize and explain content in the Project’s collection. Its responses may have limitations and should be checked using the links and sources displayed. The Guide does not provide diagnoses, prescriptions, individualized interpretation of tests, medical reports, individualized legal advice or emergency care.

Users should not enter medical records, documents, full names, addresses or other unnecessary personal and sensitive data. Usage limits may apply to protect infrastructure and control costs. Information about question processing and aggregated improvement indicators is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Appropriate use of content

It is prohibited to use platform content improperly, including but not limited to:

Reproduce, distribute or commercialize content without prior authorization.
Present the content as a substitute for professional guidance.
Modify or misrepresent articles, guides or materials.
Use materials for unauthorized commercial purposes.
Publish or share content as if it were your own work.

5. User responsibility

Users are responsible for the content they choose to share on the platform, subject also to the legal and moderation responsibilities applicable to the service. By using the platform, you agree to:

Provide truthful information and keep it updated.
Do not share third-party personal information without consent.
Do not publish offensive, discriminatory content or content that violates rights.
Do not publish false or misleading health information.
Keep your access password confidential.

6. Registration and community

Registration is personal and non-transferable.
Viewing and participating in the Community requires an authenticated account.
Posts marked as anonymous hide the name from other members in the interface but remain technically linked to the account for security and moderation purposes.
Users under 18 must use the platform under the supervision of a legal guardian.
Maintain a respectful and supportive environment in the community.
Respect diversity of opinions and experiences.
We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual property, authorship and use

Texts, articles, visual compositions, photographs, videos, educational materials and other original works available on the platform may be protected under Brazilian copyright law. Authorship and ownership information must be respected for each item, including Technical Contributions and collaborator materials.

Making material available free of charge does not automatically place it in the public domain. Unless a specific license states otherwise, downloads are intended for personal and educational use, subject to uses permitted by Brazilian law. Quotations or partial use, when legally permitted, must preserve authorship and source.

It is not permitted to remove credits, domain references or authorship notices; republish complete files on another website as one’s own; adapt and redistribute content under new authorship; or commercialize materials without authorization, except where permitted by law.

The name “Projeto Acolher TEA,” its logo and visual identity elements are used as identifiers of the initiative. These Terms do not claim trademark registration unless granted by INPI, and the Project does not use the ® symbol without a granted registration.

8. Disclaimer of liability

Projeto Acolher TEA is not responsible for:

Decisions made based on information provided on the platform.
Content on external websites linked from our pages.
Content published by users in the community.
Possible technical unavailability of the platform.

9. Changes

These Terms of Use may be updated when features, Community rules or conditions of use change. The version published on this page should be consulted as the current reference.
